Sellers can file a complaint online if the buyer delays payment, and get a resolution within 90 days

Objective
  • To facilitate settlement of delayed payments to micro and small enterprises for the goods/ services supplied by them.
Key Benefits
  • MSEFC is a quasi-judicial body for resolving delayed payment complaints.
  • Complaints must be resolved within 90 days by law.
  • Buyers must pay 3× bank interest rate if payment exceeds 45 days.
  • To appeal MSEFC verdict, buyers must deposit 75% of award amount.
Eligibility Criteria
  • The applicant should be any micro or small enterprise (except traders), having a valid Udyam registration.
