The District Industries Centre (DIC), Vellore, in collaboration with the National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NIMSME), organized an Awareness Workshop on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) at DIC hall vellore on 13.08.2025 to enhance knowledge and awareness among entrepreneurs, business owners, and innovators. The workshop aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of IPR, its importance in business, and the process of obtaining various intellectual property protections.

•	To create awareness about different types of Intellectual Property Rights. 
•	To explain the significance of IPR for entrepreneurs and innovators. 
•	To guide participants through the process of filing for patents, trademarks, copyrights, and geographical indications (GIs). 
•	To inform participants about government incentives and support available for IPR registration.

வேலூர் மாவட்ட தொழில் மையம் (DIC), தேசிய குறு, சிறு மற்றும் நடுத்தர தொழில்முனைவோர் (NIMSME) நிறுவனத்துடன் இணைந்து, 13.08.2025 அன்று வேலூர் DIC அரங்கில் அறிவுசார் சொத்து உரிமைகள் (IPR) குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வு நிகழ்வு ஒன்றை நடத்தியது.
இந்த நிகழ்வு தொழில்முனைவோர், தொழில் நிறுவன உரிமையாளர்கள் மற்றும் புதுமையாளர்களிடையே அறிவையும் விழிப்புணர்வையும் மேம்படுத்தும் நோக்கத்துடன் நடைபெற்றது. IPR என்றால் என்ன, அது வணிகத்தில் எவ்வளவு முக்கியம், மேலும் பல்வேறு அறிவுசார் சொத்து பாதுகாப்புகளைப் பெறும் நடைமுறைகள் குறித்து விரிவான விளக்கங்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டன.


• அறிவுசார் சொத்து உரிமைகளின் பல்வேறு வகைகள் குறித்து விழிப்புணர்வு ஏற்படுத்துதல்.
• தொழில்முனைவோர் மற்றும் புதுமையாளர்களுக்கு IPR-ன் முக்கியத்துவத்தை விளக்குதல்.
• காப்புரிமை (Patent), வர்த்தக முத்திரை (Trademark), பதிப்புரிமை (Copyright), புவிசார் குறியீடு (GI) போன்றவற்றிற்கு விண்ணப்பிக்கும் முறையை விளக்குதல்.
• IPR பதிவு செய்வதற்கான அரசு ஊக்கத் திட்டங்கள் மற்றும் ஆதரவுகள் குறித்து தகவல் வழங்குதல்.
