Annal Ambedkar Business Champions Scheme (AABCS)
The Annal Ambedkar Business Champions Scheme (AABCS) was launched to provide financial assistance to all the new entrepreneurs in the Tamil Nadu state.
Objective
To help all the financially unstable citizens of Tamil Nadu state start their own businesses the Tamil Nadu state government launched the Annal Ambedkar Business Champions Scheme (AABCS). All the citizens who belong to the scheduled caste or scheduled Tribe category are eligible to apply for the AABCS scheme.
Key Benefits
Under the scheme, the State Government will provide a 35% capital subsidy on the eligible Project Cost, not exceeding ₹1.5 crore.
With the help of 35% of the capital fund, a financially unstable citizen can start their business without worrying about financial troubles.
The scheme will also provide an interest subsidy of 6% for loans used to buy machinery and equipment.
The scheme will uplift the social status and standard of living of all the citizens who belong to the SC or ST category.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu state.
The applicant must be a citizen who belongs to the scheduled caste or scheduled tribe category.
