Incentives to entrepreneurs for shifting of existing units outside Urban areas

If you’re part of a business association that wants to relocate, you can get a 75% subsidy on infrastructure

Objective

To enable uniform development across the state and incentivse development outside urban areas.

Key Benefits

Grant covers 75% of total infrastructure development cost.
Maximum grant amount is INR 20 crores.
Infrastructure includes roads, drainage, culverts, storm water drains, and street lights.
Covers water supply, electricity, conference halls, training halls, and other common facilities.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicant should be an MSME or MSME association.
At least 20 MSMEs must come together to relocate facilities.
MSMEs must create a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).
Minimum of 50 acres of land required for SPV, 10 acres for micro enterprises.
Less than 50 acres may be considered if land cost is high.

Proposals on the Association/SPV's letterhead should be submitted to the District Collector, processed by the District Validation Committee and State Steering Committee, with funds disbursed in four instalments through SIDCO.
