Key Benefits
- Employer’s EPF contribution subsidy for first three years, up to INR 24,000 per employee annually.
- Subsidy applicable only if the unit employs more than 20 persons.
- If employee strength falls below 20, subsidy limited to months with required employment.
- Only regular workers are considered; casual, temporary, or contract workers excluded.
- Statutory returns under EPF Act, 1952 serve as evidence for employment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a new micro manufacturing enterprise.
- Alternatively, applicant can be a new small/medium manufacturing enterprise in industrially backward blocks.
- Alternatively, applicant can be a new small/medium agro-based or food processing enterprise.
- Applicant must be located in one of the 388 blocks of the state.
- Application must be filed within 3 months after the financial year completion.
