Objective
- To incentivize MSMEs adopt energy efficient practices and technologies for reducing energy consumption, and to incentivise MSMEs to undertake energy audits.
Key Benefits
- 75% subsidy for energy audit, up to INR 1 lakh.
- 50% subsidy for implementing energy-efficient technologies, up to INR 10 lakh.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be an existing manufacturing MSME undertaking energy audit for the first time or after 3 years.
- Applicant must have implemented energy audit improvements and saved at least 10% of energy consumption.
- Application must be filed within one year from energy audit completion.
